First I would like to tell you the rank vs marks of VITEEE. The expected mark vs rank of VITEEE is: if you score 118+ marks your rank will be somewhat near and under 250. If you are scoring in the range 113-117 marks then you can expect a rank in the range 500-250. similarly for the marks range of 90-113 you can expect a rank in the range 2500-501 . for marks between 81-90 you can expect a rank of 5000-2501. For marks between 72-81 you can expect a rank of 5001-6500 . For marks between 60-72 you can expect a rank of 6501-8500 . For marks between 43-60 you can expect a rank of 8501-11000 . for marks between 31-43 you can expect a rank of 15001-20,000 . For less than 31  you can expect a rank of about or more than 20,000.

Now, You can get an idea of the rank you are getting in VITEEE.

So, Now coming to Chennai campus. Here I will tell you both the cutoff ranks of chennai and Vellore campuses.

CSE (Vellore) : 2016:  7,000(closing rank)

2015:  15,000(closing rank)

Since this is 2019, you can expect a cutoff of 5000-6000 rank(to be at safe zone).

CSE (Chennai) : 2016:  14,000(closing rank)

2015:  33,000(closing rank)

Since this is 2019, you can expect a cutoff of 11000(appx) rank.

So, considering 10,000-11,000 rank as the cutoff, we conclude that the marks should somewhat lie around 55-60.
