To secure a seat in a government medical college through all India quota, you need AIR around 24-25k in ST category. For that, your score must be around 480-500. However, these cut offs are subject to changes depending on the level of difficulty of question paper this year.

Cut off scores vary every year. Nonetheless try to score around 500 to increase your odds of selection.

Hey,

NEET usually measures the rank with percentiles. I would suggest you to score somewhere above 450 to be sure of securing a government seat.

all the best, hope you get the seat you always wished for.

Dear student, to get into a government medical college  as a SC candidate, you need to get at least 500 + marks in the NEET UG. The cutoff for SC candidates may sometimes be low but why not aim higher and rank better!

All the best for your upcoming examinations!!

I know NEET is round the corner and you might be apprrehensive about admissions but please take note that every year the cut off varies depending on the level of the exam. So the best bet is to simply concentrate and revise all the syllabus.Even though you have the benefit of quota, you should not get lax because you never know about the cutoff.

Best of luck.

Hey Yashvi,

The NEET 2017 cut off for Government medical colleges in India, under SC quota, through 15% All India Quota, is as follows:-

Opening Rank: 97

Closing Rank: 38660

Which corresponds to a score between 400 - 610 out of 720 marks.

Based on these trends, you must focus to get a score 510+ to be absolutely sure to get a seat in a good government MBBS College through NEET 2018. Focus on your preparations now and try to get the highest score possible. All the very best for your Preparations!
