Hello Dear

CAT exam is set in 2 parts

Part 1 and part 2 , in which part 1 shall be held on a single day in 2 sessions Forenoon and Afternoon .

PART - 1 has two sessions

Paper 1 (100 marks)

Paper 2 ( 100 Mark's)

Standard of pass:- A candidate of entry level shall be declared to have passed in the exam if secures minimum 40 % Mark's in each paper and an aggregate of 50% of total Mark's( which means you have to score half of 200 marks atleast)

PART 2-

Paper 1 ( 100 Mark's)

Standard of pass : - you must secure minimum 40% Mark's in each section and aggregate of 50% of total marks.

So on a safer side you must have an average of 50 % from total Mark's

Hope its helpful

Good luck
