how many marks are sufficient to get government medicle college for MBBS in punjab state from state quota
Kedar, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, in 2019 under Statte Quota, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:
General Category: 518
OBC: 470
SC: 353
Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So you need to score atleast 50-75 marks more than those mentioned against your Category. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion.
In Neet 2019, the lowest marks that got a seat in government medical college in Punjab under state quota for general category was 518 marks and it was for Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot
But cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
So , you should try to get at least around 550 marks to be on the safer side in your neet 2020 examination if you want to get into government medical college in Punjab
Thankyou
