Dear student,
The competetion for an oc student in very high in all kinds of examinations.If you especially consider for jee mains, getting score above 160 gets you in many nits like nitap,nitsilchar,nitsurat etc.,with corresponding branches and you have to keep in mind that scoring less makes you compromise on choosing the branch.Hence, always try to score above 190 ,that can make you choose your desired branch in top 10 nits but if you want to short down to top 3 score above 230.

if you are interested in joining any and it with any course then I think 142 150 marks are sufficient to get at least any NIT personally I don't prefer to choose any NIT weather try to get Marks like around 180 to get a decent and it with a decent course otherwise there are many colleges which are better than NIT
