Hello aspirant,
For qualifying in NEET, ST category students must have 40 percentile...if u want to get in good private colleges you must have to score at least 350marks in NEET
For more information you can refer in career 360..
Thankyou
It's quite difficult to predict marks required by you to get a seat in AIIMS and jipmer
This is because,
it is the first time ever when AIIMS and JIPMER are conducting admission through neet examination .
Also , cut off marks for AIIMS and Jipmer and other Medical Colleges will depend upon various factors like
- kind of marks obtained by students in the examination ,
- toughness level of the neet examination etc.
- Number of students that appear in NEET
Also,Aiims and Jipmer are the top Medical Colleges and seats are very limited in them, and they will be offering seats through all India quota for which cutoff marks goes high.
keeping these things in mind ,
you should target around 650 marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims and JIPMER if you belong to ST category .
Thank you
Thank you

You haven't mentioned the State you belong to or the COllege you are enquiring about. This is important because cut offs are different for Private Medical Colleges, GMCs, Deemed/Central Universities. Now Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. For this you will need atleast 525 and above. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. You will need atleast 500 and above here. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and you will need atleast 425 and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that. Now Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
