This is a bit difficult to predict the rank / percentile required in JEE mains to get a seat in NIT as cut off rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then in JEE main 2019 for candidates of other states , the cutoff rank for general category for computer engineering to get a seat in NIT Patna was 13638.

All india rank of 13638 is around 135 marks i. e around 98.5 percentile

So, to be on the safe side in JEE mains 2021 you should target at least around 150 marks to get computer science engineering NITs. For computer science Engineering in top NIT you should target 200 + marks
