Nit tiruchirapalli is considered to be the topmost college through jee mains so the cut off would also be very high as compared to other nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut.
As per my knowledge looking at the previous years trends you have to score 99+ percentile to strengthen your chances to take admission in this college. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

With reference ot your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that it's not quite possible to predict the exact cutoff rank and percentile score in JEE mains exam that'll get you a seat in NIT Trichy . This is because the JEE mains Cutoff keeps varying every year and is different for different category Students and it varies from colleges to colleges.
The JEE mains cutoff depends on several factors like : Number of aspirants appearing the exam, difficulty level of the paper, previous year cutoff trends etc.
However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, in order to get a Seat in NIT Trichy, you need to have a minimum rank within 5k-10k and percentile score of greater than 98 , to be on safer side, in your JEE mains paper 2.
