Hello,
It is difficult to predict the exact marks as rank vs marks trends changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, top score in exam, marks scored in each subject, number of candidates belonging to your category etc. To get a rank under 5000 a safe score in between 150-180 marks or above. This is an estimation. If you are preparing for JEE main then you can check our JEE Knockout package details and if interested you can get it to help you with your preparation

Marks vs rank statistics change each year as the level of question and performance of students change. 5000 OBC rank is equivalent to 20000 general rank approximately. You need to score roughly 125 to obtain 5000 OBC rank .
Still this is just an approximation and not exact. It is always better not to give importance to marks but your performance. Good performance results in good marks as well as good rank.
All the best.
