Thank You for asking your doubt.
Maharastra state board has some vivid law with respect to marks required to be eligible for different course in medical n paramedical field. If you want to pursue m.b.b.s,then being an open candidate student you need to receive 50 percent marks in pcb combined,if you belong to reserved category like sc,st,obc, then you need to score 45 percent marks in pcb.the same is true for b.d.s. if you want to pursue b.p.th or other paramedical courses, then you need to score 45percent marks in pcb for open candidate; and 40 percent mark in pcb for a student in reserved category. Scoring 50 percent mark is very easy if you study regularly.
Hope my answer was helpful.
All the best with your preparation
For General Category you need 50% marks. For Physically Handicapped is 45% and for OBC/SC/ST is 45% (PH is 40%) Also, that the marks scored for Math would not be taken into consideration in this exam.
