The number of marks for scoring 99 percentile would differ according to the number of students giving the exam because percentile is calculated according to that factor.
Still, if you are keeping a target of 99 percentile, you would have to get at least 180 or 180+ marks. However, if you are keeping an target for higher NITs, you should get 99.5 Percentile and for that you would have to get 200+ marks.
At 99 percentile your rank would be around 10k-10.7k, at 99.5 percentile your rank would be around 4.6k-4.8k
