How many marks required in jee mains and adv. to get Nit or IIT collages

As you know that this is one of the top most exam in India and near about 10lakhs students give this exam and nearly 30 thousand students get admission into nits and iits .

From this year the jee mains held twice in a year ( results will be declared by using best of the two scores ) ; and percentile system has been adopted.

So taken into consideration all the ups and downs you need to score 200+ marks for a good nits ( varies according to the exam difficulty level and students preparation and according to the college and branch you want ).

And if we talk about rank than you should secure a rank under 15000 for a reputated nit.

And for IIT you need to secure rank under 7-8  thousand ( or even better according to the college )

And relatable marks you should secure 180+ marks out of 360-370 .

You should look nd search about the good nits and iits and their last year's cut offs trends.

The cutoff marks is not yet declared for NITs and IITs. However the opening and closing rank till round 6 is declared by Joint Seat Allocation Authority. The cutoff rank goes upto 99000 and the college allocated is NIT Hamirpur in material science and engineering.
