how many marks required to get into nit colleges?

I am assuming you from general category.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains as closing rank keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

Under other state quota , closing rank for some of the nits for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for general category  :-

• National Institute of Technology Sikkim, Civil Engineering :- 47412

• National Institute of Technology, Mizoram, Civil Engineering:- 49757

• National Institute of Technology Agartala, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering :- 50,010

From above, it is clear that you need at least a rank of around 45,000 - 50,000 to get into an NIT .And to get a rank in this range, you need at atleast around 95.5 - 96 percentile which is roughly around 125 marks as per our rank predictor at
