how many marks required to get seat in aiims for medical

Dear Joshi, AIIMS doesnt reveal marks. The scoring is in percentiles. In 2018, the cut offs for Delhi Campus are:



General Category: 99.986

OBC: 99.940

SC: 99.716

ST: 99.476



AIIMS MBBS scores will be released in the form of percentage marks. These percentage marks will be calculated on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance examination and further applying the normalisation procedure.

one must score 120+  so that you can get into any aiims easily.However cutoff marks do vary depending on the difficulty of seats and number of seats avilable.

It's a well known fact that the the governing body of the AIIMS Examination doesn't disclose the question paper and answer keys, hence it becomes quite tough to predict the total marks secured. Even after such, the result declared don't show the marks.

The only 2 things which we are provided with is :



1. Overall and subject wise percentile

2. AIR



So, it actually becomes a cumbersome procedure to predict the marks, still we get to know about it solely because the Examinees and the AIIMS toppers often share their examination experience and strategy.

Thus, following this, we can predict at least something about the marks although not perfectly.



Since you didn't mention about the category, I will just state the data for the UR ones.



For AIIMS Delhi : 153+/200

For any other AIIMS : 133+/200



Although the cutoff trends might change, yet it's safe to have the above mentioned scores in you hand.
