Hi Sir,
APECET exams have different papers for different sections i.e. For engineering, pharmacy and B.Sc (Mathematics).
For Engineering,
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are asked in the common section of the paper and the last section is for the specific engineering field. There will be 3 papers having 200 MCQ's each of 1 mark.( No negative marking). Marks are distributed per paper as 25 marks for physics and chemistry, 50 marks in maths and 100 marks in the engineering section. The minimum passing marks for General category is 25%. And for SC and ST there is no minimum qualifying marking scheme.
For admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, they take in students having a cut off rank in different branches.
However, your rank depends on the number of students answering and also the number of students qualifying.
But keep in mind its important that you score 110/200 to keep your rank above 10000.
For Chemical Engineering, the cutoff is 13000-14000 rank.
For Civil, the cutoff is 4000-5000 rank.
For Computer Engineering, the cutoff is 3000-4000 rank.
For ECE, the cutoff is 2000-3000
For EEE, the cut off is 3000-4000
And finally for Mechanical, the cut off is 3000-4000
Keep in mind the rank varies every year but you will be better off if you have scored 110/200 in the Ap Ecet.
Thank You.
