National Institute of Technology has great reputation.These are national institutes managed by the Government autonomous body.To enter into the NIT's the candidate should write JEE exam and score good marks.

To qualify in the JEE main exam there is a certain cut off for every caste.For OC candidates, the candidate should get minimum 120 marks in the JEE mains exam.To get NIT's  you should score 180-200 marks,you will get good NIT's.

NTA have not officially declared any cut off lists yet for 2019 but according to previous years data the closing rank for NITs was around 42k(for open category/ Mining engineering/ NIT Raipur).

To secure your chances you need to Score above 95 percentile and around 150 marks.

according to previous year (2018) cutoffs,the minimum marks to secure for getting into NIT'S in JEE MAIN is 74 for OC category.



These cutoffs changes every year.these are not final.

To secure seats in NITs you need at least 140 score under general category.With this score you can get good branch in home state NIT.Under OBC you need at least 130 score for home state NITs.This is previous year trends of JEE mains.It may change little bit.
