Hello,

Jee main is highly competitive as there are many slots and relative grading also imparts it a tougher side.Normally cut off of jee main for obc category will be around 75 percentile. But inorder to fetch a seat you might require 94+ percentile.Still you can not make to the top four and better branches.97 above can get you better college in your home state quota and some non circuital branches in top nits.Category rank vs percentile.

4,056- 98.3       4,355- 98.2.      4,665 -98.1    4,998-98.0    5,268 -97.9        5,563 -97.8.      5,878-97.7.     6,201- 97.6    6,531- 97.5       6,815 -97.4       7,110 -97.3      7,415 -97.2   7,736- 97.1        8,039-97.0.       8,361 -96.9     8,694 -96.8

So you should be scoring above 120 or in some slots above 140.It depends on the slotwise difficulty. So better you try your level without setting such a boundary

All the best!!.
