how many marks should I need in neet ug to do mbbs from best government college in india
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Dear aspirant,
The best medical college in India is All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. The cut off marks for AIIMS, Delhi vary from year to year depending on the level of difficulty of paper, number of aspirants appearing, their performance in the exam etc. therefore it would be very difficult to give you a specific score. However, considering you are from unreserved category, you would need to get an All India Rank (AIR) within 50 to secure a seat
To elaborate, in NEET 2019, a score of 685+ would have given you an AIR of within 50. However, in NEET 2020, a score of 705+ was sufficient to give an AIR of within 50. So basically, all you need to do is work as hard as you can to get the best possible score so that ultimately you are in top 50 in the country.
Hope it gives you some idea.
NEET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained to pass the exam. NEET UG 2021 cutoff for general category candidates is 50th percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants, NEET qualifying percentile is 40th and 45th percentile, respectively.
Last year, NEET cutoff scores for the general category were 720-147, while for SC/ST/OBC it was 146-113.
