You haven't mentioned your home state, but generally, you'll get a good NIT *easily* if you score anything above 170 due to your category. To be on the safe side, let's say 180+ is something you should be looking at.

Score above 150 for SC category as you have mentioned.

The previous year cut off of JEE mains for SC category was 32 so with a score above 120 you'll get an NIT. In order get top NITs you must have a rank under 10-15k also the rank and cut off depends upon the dificulty level of the paper For Mechanical the cut offs are mostly 190+ and for electrical it is 185+. You can predict the colleges coming your rank by the JEE main college predictor of Career 360.
