Hello.

NEET UG has many seats in both Govt and Private colleges.

For Govt colleges, you need 500+ marks to get a college.

However, kindly reply with your state of domicile. So that you can get a better idea of the score.

Being an OBC category doesn't give much advantage.

Dear Siddhapura,

There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 550+. Then you'll definitely get a govt. medical college.
If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps -
Clear your basic concepts.
Be thorough with NCERT textbook. Its a must.
Solve previous year question papers.
Take mock tests to assess your progress.
Solve questions from any reference book you prefer for competitive exams
Solve as much as numerical possible.
Use shortcuts to solve to save your time. Formulas to be at your Fingertips.
All the best !

It depends upon a number of factors including your category, your state, exam difficulty level etc. So, it is not possible to determine exact cutoff. However, if we follow general trends, I would advise you to score around 520 for a seat in state quota and around 560 for a seat in All India quota. This is for an average seat in a decent college for OBC category.

All the best.

Aim for the moon, you may hit the stars.

Start planning to get atleast a score of 500. And remember the smart work matters more than hard work.

Not 500 then atleast 450 will work.
