Since you haven't mentioned any board, the passing percentage for most schools is 33%. Out of 80 students are required to score at least 26 marks.

You haven't mentioned the exam for which you want to know the passing marks out of 80. Below mentioned iss the passing marks for CBSE.

The CBSE has revealed subject-by-subject passing marks for the class 10th and 12th exams. Each subject has a separate minimum passing score. According to the CBSE circular, students in class 12 must receive 33 percent in theory and practical examinations separately, as well as 33 percent in aggregate in each subject. Students must obtain a minimum of 26 out of 80 in theory-based papers such as English and Hindi to pass the exam.
