Considering last year figures.

For the year 2018–19, there are 3,200 MBBS seats in Telangana in the 25 Medical Colleges of the State.

The above includes MBBS seats in Government & Private Colleges and also deemed Universities.

Of the 25 Medical Colleges, 3 Colleges have been debarred by Medical Council of India (MCI) from taking admissions in the year 2018–19:

R.V.M. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Medak

Mallareddy Medical College for Womens, Hyderabad

Mahavir Institute of Medical Sciences, Vikarabad, Telengana

Government Medical Colleges have 1,100 MBBS seats.

The total number of seats in Telangana for MBBS is 3300 comprising of 23 medical colleges .An additional 150 seats from this year have been added.

While the total number seats in BDS is 1125.
