Please be mindful that UPES is more rank-centric than marks. The candidates are called for counseling based on the rank obtained in the UPESEAT exam.

The rank cut-off varies every year owing to the factors listed below:

• The difficulty level of the exam
• Previous year's cutoff trends
• Total No. of candidates who appeared for the UPESEAT
• Overall Performance of the candidates
• No. of seats
