how many ml of water should be added in 300ml of 0.1M of acetic acid solution so that it's degree of dissociation increases by factor of 2

As we know, Cα2=Ka;α=Ka/C.
According to the given condition,
α2/α1=2=C1/C2;       C2=0.2/4
Again,M1V1=M2V2,
V2=300×0.2×4/0.2=1200 ml.
So, 900 (=1200-300) mL of water should be added.
