Dear student there's no predecided benchmark set by the foreign universities which makes you eligible to consider admission into them. The factors which indirectly influence the range of desirable marks are subjects to be studied at the university level, country where you want to study, university rankings and a number of prerequisites which a particular country requires (the first being the most important and the others being less important but significantly essential in that order). So for example, a country like Australia might want you to score 85%+ for admission in to the top 8 universities in a subject like computer science which is highly sought after given that you scored exceptionally well in class 10th and 12h along with IELTS. An American university might want you to score 7080% plus if you have scored decent makes in your SAT, TOEFL along with 10th and 12th. SOP & LOR play a much greater role in countries like Canada and US than you imagine. So it's better you list your personal details to the factors I stated above or consult a study abroad counsellor or the university for a clear picture.

PS- Your predicted marks play a significant role since you send out your applications much earlier than your 12th results so make sure you perform even better in those half yearly and weekly tests for your teachers to jot down a decent predicted score for you.

If you looking for admission overseas, then you must have well academic record Which includes A category for grades, Above then 7.5 cgpa. And you need to clear the entrance test for admission as well as the English test is compulsory for admission. Some the universities in usa requires valid score in SAT.
