Hello,
When it comes to working as a lecturer in a college, you have to complete your master's degree in the relevant discipline with 55% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% in case of reserved categories, since you have tagged botany and zoology hence you can appear for CSIR-NET which is specifically for science subjects, other than this you can appear for SET which is conducted at state level, now coming to your question, if you are able to maintain a good academic profile throughout your school and college such as securing above 80-85%(the minimum has to be above 60% especially for UR candidate), then that's very good when you will be applying to be more working as a college lecturer, since this is an important criteria that will be considered for your selection, other than this if you have published research paper, that also add weightage to the CV.
Hello aspirant
Eligibility Criteria to become a lecturer in India: If you have scored at least 55% marks in your Master's degree programme (50% for reserved category candidates) you can become a lecturer .
Hope this helps. All the best.
hi,
see to tell the truth your 12th score is not mattered for being a lecturer. generally to become a lecturer you have to gain a bachelors degree in any discipline, preferably the area of specialization in which you finds most of the interest. to become a lecturer in polytechnic, diploma courses institution bachelors degree is enough. to become a lecturer of graduate level courses you have to do masters degree in relevant discipline with research experience or you may need to work experience on research journals.
