how many percentage is needed for best college in DU for bsc, chemistry honour ...is it better than Bhu.
Hello Rahul
50% or more marks in English
An aggregate of 60% or more marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
To get top colleges like Miranda house or Hindu College which are good for BSC in Chemistry you must score more than 96 in your 12th.
All the best!!
Dear Aspirant,
Both the universities are good but I would suggest you to go for Delhi University. The reasons are good location and lies in the center of our country. The atmosphere Delhi provides is incomparable.
Now to the percentage part for chemistry honors in the top colleges like Stephen, LSR, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, etc you have to score a minimum of 92-95 percentage in your+2.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hello dear student,
Yes definitely both Delhi University and BHU are different very intirely different universities. But there University is one of the best universities iIndia. and if you want to take admission in chemistry Honours then you student if you are a general category student then try to get marks above 92 to 94 percentage as every year cutoff changes and Delhi University cut off unexpected ever year . Why for reserved category students percentage very from 85 percent and sometimes even category students get admission in Delhi University having 76% and above. So dear student don't worry . give your best in class 12th and you will get a good percentage in boards. Best wishes
Basically percentage for any courses from DU depends on the passing percentage of the student generally if many people got 95 percentage so cutoff for this course goes high if only some people get high percentages then the cut off of these course little bit low, but I can give you a rough idea as far as general category is considered so you need to score at least 98% in your 12th board examination for having chemistry Honours course from the best colleges of DU, if we compare Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University for these traditional courses so you need to know that Delhi University is famous for traditional courses.
Best of luck.
