Don't Miss: JEE Seat Matrix
Hello Saishakti,
JEE Advanced examination is conducted to get admission in the 23 IIT's in India. To be eligible for JEE ADVANCED one has to be among the top 2,24,000 candidates in JEE Mains including all categories.
The last year cut off for JEE advanced was 126 marks for general category, 114 marks for OBC- NCL category and 63 marks for SC/ST category students.
The cut off vary's every year so one cannot exactly predict the marks a student needs for admission into the IIT's. If the question paper is difficult the cut off decreases while if the question paper is easier the cut off increases.
The above marks are just the cut-off and to ensure that you get the college and branch of your choice, try scoring more and more marks. If your marks are above 200 then you will get the college and branch of your choice.
All the best.
