Government Polytechnic at Karad was founded in 1957 at Ogalewadi.
It is furnishing a diploma in six courses.
T he institutes are certified by AICTE, New Delhi, and are associated with the Maharashtra State Board of technical education.
The eligibility norms for the diploma courses are
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- A 10th standard qualified aspirant with at least 35% total is suitable for admission to the first year.
- For immediate admission in the second year, the aspirant must have finished 12th with Maths as one of the subjects.
