how many percentile needed in jee main for cs branch for obc category?

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains as closing rank keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

Under other state quota , closing rank for some of the nits for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for obc category for computer science  :-

• NIT Mizoram ,computer science engineering :- 9343 obc rank

• Nit Nagaland, computer science engineering :- 9632 obc rank

So, to get a seat computer science in NIT you should get at least around 9000 OBC rank i. e around 97 percentile

see cutoff score changes every year and it varies with institution wise, to get a tier 1 college your score should be high, on the other hand you can get a private college in computer science engineering stream by scoring a nominal marks. however it also depends on number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix and students category.

however right now it is  difficult to predict any score to get cse in any institute. for nits, iiits your percentile score should be 95+ as per previous years records.
