Hello,
SRM conducts it's own entrance exam as SRMJEEE to intake candidates. So increases the competition. Try to get a low rank near to 5k so that you can get an admission in any one of the college. Manipal college intakes the cutoff specified by NTA released by it during result declaration.
In short try to score as high as possible and get an rank near to 4k-5k. this will make your position secure in the college but why don't you aim for NIT or IIT. Try your best to get those if not you will go for these colleges.
