The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing botany honors in india is as follows-

1) Qualify class 12 or equivalent examination in science stream with a minimum of 50% marks in main subject (biology)  or aggregate marks. This percentage may vary from from college to college.

2) some institutions also conduct an entrance examination for admission into this course.
