Hi Vikram!

There is no specific number of theoretical questions asked in the NEET exam. After analyzing the previous year question papers, we can say that 98% questions from the biology are theoretical based. 25 to 30 questions of the chemistry section are theoretical based. And for physics it normally consists of all the numericals, but there is a chance of getting 5 to 10 questions which are of theory.

Thank you!

Hi,

In physics out of 45 questions maximum 5–7 questions are of theory remaining are numerical.

Mostly out of 45 questions 35 to 38 questions will be problems and the rest will be theory based questions. So it would be better if you practice problems, if you want to score good. If you find problems difficult then it is not a big deal you can concentrate on other subjects and score well.

Physics is a science of numericals and usually most of the questions out of the 90 questions which are asked in the physics paper will be based on some algebraic or arithmetic calculation. However some objective type questions on units or names of scientists or modern physics could be asked which do not have any numericals in world but usually will range between 3 to 6 questions to be specific.

In Physics there are about 4-5 theory based questions every year.. they might be even less, but not more than 4-5. So prepare accordingly, study smart.

Hope this helps.

All the Best.

hello aspirant...

hope you are doing good.

The Physics section of the NEET 2022 exam will have 45 questions, according to the exam pattern. In NEET, each question is worth four points, and each incorrect answer costs a candidate one point. The structure of the NEET exam has changed since last year. The subject of Physics will be divided into two sections. Section A will have 35 questions, and Section B will have 15 questions, of which 10 must be attempted.

According to experts, anything above 140 points in NEET Physics is considered a good score. To get a score of more than 140, you must get 36 – 38 correct answers in this section, taking into account the negative marking.

15 to 20questions are asked theory oriented or fact based directly from NCERT. 15 to 20 questions are asked numerical or derivative based directly from NCERT.

5 to 10 logical concepts and 5 to 10 critical concept based questions.

Hope this information helps you...

All the best.
