BITSAT paper pattern:-

BITSAT 2018 paper will have a total of 150 questions from all 4 sections.

Each correct answer will be given 3 marks, while for each incorrect response, the candidates will be awarded -1 which means that the entrance exam has negative marking. Therefore, candidates must be very careful in choosing the answer options. It should be a guesswork which will be highly disadvantageous for them. For unattempted questions, no marks or zero marks will be given.

There is no fixed cutoff score for BITSAT, it depends upon various factors and keeps changing every year.

The cutoff score for B Pharm is the lowest, and its somewhere around 210 to 230.

The cutoff score for Computer science is the highest, and its somewhere around 280+.

There will be 150 total questions asked in which 40 each is for physics and chemistry, 15 for English Proficiency, 10 for Logical Reasoning and 45 will be there for Mathematics. Time duration will be 3 hours. All questions in BITSAT are objective in nature. • BITSAT 2018 will have 4 sections – Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV

• Physics and Chemistry sections have 40 questions each, while Mathematics has 45 questions and English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning have 10 and 15 questions respectively.

• The time allotted to complete BITSAT 2018 paper is 3 hours (without break)

• All the questions are objective in nature or in other words – MCQs.

• Each correct answer will be given 3 marks, each incorrect -1 and unattempted questions will be given zero or no marks.

• If any candidate finishes answering all the 150 questions, then he/she can opt for 12 extra questions, 4 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), in case they still have time within the allotted 3 hours.
