The Manipal Entrance Test takes two hours to complete and is conducted in English. There are 60 questions in all. Multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions will be included. The number of questions in each segment is listed below.
Only 10 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in English
10 MCQs and 5 NATs in physics
10 MCQs and 5 NATs in chemistry
15 MCQs and 5 NATs in mathematics

The total marks are 240. For every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and for incorrect answer 1 mark will be deduced in case of MCQ type questions. There is no negative mark for NAT questions.
