Assuming that you are enquiring regarding JEE Main paper 1 you need to answer approximately 38 question in JEE Main correctly. JEE Main paper 1 is conducted for 300 marks, There will be 3 sections

• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry

The number of questions are 90 out of which the candidates must answer 75 questions. There will be 20 objective type questions in each section. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and for each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted. There will be 10 numerical questions in each section out of which the candidate must answer 5 questions in each section. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and there is no negative marking for incorrect answer
