Hello,

The minimum aggregate marks you need to score in individual paper is 20% marks in English and 10% marks in General Studies. The total number of questions in English paper and GS paper is 120 for each. By this you need to score minimum 24 marks in English and minimum 12 marks in GS. But you have to score overall minimum qualifying cut off marks which changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, number of vacancies and difficulty of exam. The cut off may vary from 75-95 marks. To clear the English paper cut off you need to answer at least 29-30 question correctly without any incorrect answer and to clear the GS cut off you need to answer minimum 15-16 questions correctly without any incorrect answer. There is one-third negative marking for an incorrect answer.
