It depends from college to college and also from year to year.Number of seats get changed every year.In 2020, the total number of BTech seats in all the IITs put together were 11,289. So of all the students who appeared for JEE Advanced last year, less than 1% finally got admission into one of the IITs.

A total number of 23 IITs participate in the JEE (Mains) and JEE (Advanced) examination. Approximately, there are a total of 13000 seats in all IITs. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has not yet released the seats for the present year. The allocation of a seat is done on the basis of JEE (Advanced). Admission in IITs is done by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling conducted every year.
