Don't Miss: JEE Seat Matrix
Dear Venkatesh
Last year there were 11279 seats in total. So, it is expected that it will be a few hundreds more than before.
There are about 500 seats reserved for the EWS category in JEE ADVANCED 2019. There is no official words from upsc so there is no definite number at the moment but i think that there will be about 40-50% seats left for the general category.
I hope i was able to help you out, feel free to ask more questions.
Dear Candidate,
EWS quota is around 10% of the total seats in colleges. IITs have roughly around 9000+ seats in total. According to that, the total reserved seats would be around 900. However, the EWS is introduced this year itself, therefore much cannot be said about it with precision but according to 10% reservation, seats will be around this number.
Hope this helps.
