CAT is an national level exam and there is no limit to the number of seats. As far as IIMs are concerned there are around 3500-4000 seats in total. Hope this helps!

in india most of the b-schools accept cat examination. are you asking for the number of seats in iims or total in india or do you have any particular set of colleges in your mind.
in iims there are around 10000 seats out of which around 5000 are for flagship programs
