There are approximately 2791 MBBS seats in West Bengal. 15% of the seats from Government Medical Colleges are filled through All India Counselling and the remaining 85% of the seats of the GMCs and all 3 Categories of Private Medical College seats are filled through State Counselling. All these seats are filled through Constitutional reservations.
