How many seats have been increased under EWS scheme

Hello student,

EWS category comes under general category only. It doesn't mean any increment in the number of seats. Let's suppose there are 100 seats and 50% are reserved to general category, which means 50 seats for general category. Then 10% reservation for EWS category means 10% in general category, that is 5 seats out of 50 is for EWS category. So, the total number remains the same.

Hope this helped. Good luck

Hello Dear

Based upon the 10% reservation which has granted to the General Category Candidate's according to that approximately 3 Lakh seat's have been increased which will be taken into the account from this year onwards.

Thanks
