There are as many as 1225 MBBS seats available for Punjab State Counselling and we have 3 GMCs in Punjab. And these 3 GMCs have a total of 500 MBBS seats and OBC Category has 27% reservation. But among these 500, 15% of seats are alotted for All India Counselling. Which means 75 seats are filled under AIQ. The remaining 525 seats are filled according to Constitutional reservations. Approximately 140 seats are reserved for OBC Category in Punjab State Counselling.
