How many students appear for IIT JAM BT (Biotechnology) paper each year?

Total number of applicants for IIT JAM are about 84000 in 2019 and about 60000 in 2020. The number of students applying for Biotechnology Seats is somewhat lesser than the total number as there are only 91 seats available under Biotechnology, all over India. There is no official number provided for students exclusively appearing for Biotechnology seats.

About 73,360 candidates registered themselves for the IIT JAM examination last year(2019) , out of which 62,654 applicants appeared in it.
