In the ntse notification given by the dge,it is said that 233 candidates will be selected to ntse stage 2.check ntse notification.

There is no definite number of candidates to be selected for the NTSE stage 2 from the state. All those who achieve the cutoff score set by DGE, Tamilnadu will qualify. Determining the NTSE cutoff 2019 depends on various factors like total number of students who appeared for the exam, maximum and minimum marks scored, difficulty level of the paper etc. This year, the cut off is expected to show major variations due to the change in the exam pattern.
