NUJS provides admission for 127 seats. Out of which 89 seats are for all India candidates and 38 seats are for West Bengal domicile candidates.
- For general category there are total 73 seats
- For scheduled caste there are 18 seats
- For OBC category there are 6 seats
- For foreign nationals there are 2 seats
- For NRI candidates there are 18 seats
- For PWD category there are 3 seats
- For Jammu Kashmir candidates there are two seats.
