Hi aspirant!

According to Union minister Harsh Vardhan, within 2 years, the number of seats increased for UG and PG in medical colleges is 24,698. During the period of 2017-18 to 2019-20, the number of seats increased for UG and PG are 15,815 & 2,153 respectively.

The EWS reservation will be allotted for the increased seats not for the existing seats already declared. Here is the data of increased seat number according to state wise
