Hello,
If you're enquiring regarding UGC NET then it's conducted for a duration of three hours
Paper I consists of 50 questions carrying 100 Marks, it'll assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate on topics such as reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper II consists of 100 questions carrying 200 Marks, this will be the subject of the post graduation in your case which will be Commerce.
Qualifying Marks in both paper for General Category is 40% while in case of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/Transgender it's 35%.
