Qualifying Exam
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized Board; candidates from NIOS Board are eligible - Gap year between Class 11 and 12 is permitted.
Minimum Age Requirement
17 years as on December 31, 2018.
Candidates must be born on or before January 1, 2002.
Maximum Age Limit
Applicable for NEET 2018 as per final judgement of Delhi High Court on May 11, 2018.
Qualifying Marks
UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)
Maximum Attempts
Previously applied cap on the number of attempts has been removed. Now, there is no limit on the permitted number of attempts age criteria permitting.
Nationality
Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals

The minimum age is 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year for all candidates.
Maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of the admission year for general category candidates.
Reserved category candidates are eligible for 5 years relaxation in upper age limit. Hence, the maximum age limit is 30 years for reserved category candidates
the limit on the number of attempts has been removed
