Hello,

There are no upper limit to attempt nor for age in GATE examination.
.
Here is the eligibility details for GATE examination,

Candidates belonging to India as well as abroad are allowed for exam
Candidates must hold a graduation
There is no age limit
There are no attempting limitations

In the same way every course has its own eligiblity like,

For B.arch one should have 5 years bachelor degree in architecture
For B.sc and BS one should have 4 years degree in science or post diploma in science

Same like mentioned above every course has has different eligiblity.

Hey there

There is no restriction on number of attempts for gate exam but there are many PSUs which has age limits and it varies for different PSUs.
